ASPBAE FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY |
Communique No. 1, issued in November 2007, was the Notice for the Fifth
General Assembly. It also included the schedule of activities and the
Guidelines for Accreditation of members to the General Assembly.
Communique No. 2 was issued on April 15, 2008 to all accredited members
and included the Notice of Accreditation; Guidelines for Elections and
Voting and; the Draft Proposed Amendments to the ASPBAE Constitution
. A total of 110 member organizations and 111 individual members are
accredited to the Fifth General Assembly.
This Communiqué outlined the procedure for Selection of Country Voting
Representative. The ASPBAE's governance process provides that ASPBAE
voting is exercised through two (2) Voting Representatives per country,
one man and one woman. To coordinate this selection process and ensure
that it is transparent, fair and involves all accredited member
organisations, the Secretary General appoints Country Coordinators in
each of the countries where there are more than one (1) accredited
member organisations.
